The UI / UX of sailfish OS is very polished, and they have created an Android interface layer so that you can run Android Apps as well. Supported API layer is 33, so with some applications you need to run an older version. Mostly everything works. it is a full linux OS, so you can compile programs so that they work natively, but this is more for advanced users. I really like this phone.
You'd want to see if a degoogled android OS will work on your phone. Pick an OS that you want to try and then see if it supports your make and model. From there, follow the OS instructions on installation or search for a YouTube video.

Very true. Just assume that everything on line is public knowledge.
Great advice.

Using a jolla c2 community phone with sailfishos. Id say that this is a good enough phone as daily driver.
Interesting. Haven't tried out sailfish yet. sounds like it's working well for you?
Confusing. My current Samsung Android phone does not have a Simcard. How would I switch my stuff to one of your deGoogled phones?
